Woon Ki Lau is originally from Hong Kong, and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. He was one of the first immigration lawyers in Colorado, and practiced for ten years in Northglenn, Colorado before starting Lau & Choi, P.C. in Denver, Colorado in 1984. Woon Ki Lau graduated with a B.S. in Physics from Colorado State University in 1965, and received his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 1972. Mr. Lau now specializes in a variety of civil matters, including commercial leases. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, the Federal District Court of Colorado, the Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. Woon Ki Lau is an active member of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Lau was the first chairperson of the Colorado AILA chapter, and is one of the founders of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA).

Margaret Choi is originally from China, raised in Hong Kong, and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She and Mr. Lau started Lau & Choi, P.C. in 1984, and she has focused her practice solely on all aspects of immigration law for over twenty-five years. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Wyoming in 1980, and received her J.D. from the University of Wyoming Law School in 1983. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, the Federal District Court of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit. Margaret Choi is an active member of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) and a member and past chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Margaret Choi was recently named one of the Top Lawyers of 2009 by the Denver Business Journal.

Johnny Poon is originally from Hong Kong, and he speaks Cantonese. He has been an attorney with Lau & Choi, P.C. since 1999, specializing in all aspects of immigration law, with a focus on removal defense and employment-based immigration. He graduated with a B.A. from UCLA in 1993, and received his J.D. from Louisiana State University in 1998. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, the Federal District Court of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit. Johnny Poon is an active member of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Sarah Doll is originally from Chicago, Illinois and has been an attorney with Lau & Choi, P.C. since 2007, specializing in immigration law with a focus on removal defense and appeals. She graduated with a B.S. from the University of Illinois in 2001, and received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2007. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, as well as in the Federal District Court of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Kellyn Nagel is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is fluent in French. She graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in International Politics and French Language and Literature and a minor in Women's Studies. She received her J.D. from CUNY Law School in 2012 and is admitted to practice in Colorado.
